W/C 8th December and W/C 15th December

Hello! So, I thought I would combine these last two weeks to make things a bit easier...

With almost all of you I did a presentation about Christmas in the UK! We also did a Christmas quiz. You can find the presentation here, which has some more activities on it as we didn't manage to finish it in class. Click on the cute photo below to see the presentation:

The quiz, and the answers, can be found here

Other than the Christmas lesson: with 1 ESO we finished practising conversations about greetings. With 2 ESO we finished talking about jobs. With 3 ESO we finished talking about appearances and using our comparatives and superlatives to talk about our funniest/happiest/saddest/scariest moments of our lives - some very interesting stories!! Finally, with 4 ESO we did a worksheet related to disabilities, and discussed how we would do various everyday activities if we had certain disabilities. There were some very interesting suggestions in this activity too!

I hope you all have a lovely Christmas, have a well-deserved break and enjoy the time with your family and friends!

See you all soon,

Nicola :)

W/C 1st December

This week...

With 1 ESO we continued discussing various dialogues.

With 2 ESO we discussed jobs and places of work in small groups, sharing our ideas about what would be the best and worst jobs we could imagine!

With 3 ESO we described photos of famous people to practise our vocabulary about appearances, and we also discussed the happiest/saddest/funniest/scariest moments of our lives to practise our comparatives and superlatives.

With 4 ESO I gave a presentation on disabilities. Click on the photo below to access the powerpoint:

As the 4th year students will know, today (3rd December) is the International Day of People with Disability. If you want to find out more about this day then click on the following link:
