W/C 24th November

This week we mainly continued with topics from previous lessons so that everyone could practise their speaking skills...

1 ESO - we practised some more dialogues to improve our reading skills and pronunciation.



2 ESO - we started discussing jobs and places of work in small groups.

3 ESO - as we hadn't done the Bonfire Night presentation which I had done previously with other groups, we did this. Please scroll down on the blog to find the link to the presentation :)

4 ESO - we continued describing various accidents and emergencies in small groups and sharing our own personal experiences.

W/C 17th November

Brrr this week is cold! Here are the activities from this week:

1 ESO - we continued practising dialogues to improve our reading and pronunciation.

2 ESO - I gave a presentation about jobs and places of work. Get ready to answer questions about this topic next week! HERE is the presentation so you can revise!

3 ESO - We did some fun work on appearances! Someone said I should have included Zac Efron with the celebrity descriptions, so here he is - click on him to open the powerpoint!

4 ESO - Following on from last week's accidents and emergencies lesson, we started to discuss various incidents in small groups and share our personal experiences - some of these have been very interesting! I look forward to hearing more next week. :)

This week in some classes we continued with work we had already started whilst in others we began new topics...

1 ESO: We practised dialogues in small groups in the English department.

2 ESO: We continued discussing the theme of TV

W/C 3rd November

This week in the UK there is a big celebration - Bonfire Night. So this week, with 1 and 4 eso we did some work on Bonfire Night... Click the photo to view the presentation.

With 2 eso we continued discussing TV and their thoughts about Sleepy Hollow which they watchted in the filmoteca!
